Established in 2023, Sediwa Consctruction and Eco Services was started to create a platform for skilled individuals from rural villages around Acornhoek, especially Sigagule to channel their skills into a cohesive collective. Over the years, through various projects, our partner organisation (npo) Nourish, has built skills and supported ‘piece job’ labour, finding a wealth of passion for welding, concrete work, building, thatching, electrics, plumbing and using waste (recycling) as a resource for building materials and art.

This culminated in the formation of a company, to allow these young men and women a chance to use their skills and provide services far and wide; growing their individual capacity and improving their income and livelihoods. Our key focus is on finding ways to minimise our footprint, so using waste as a resource wherever possible as a building medium. Innovation, passion, and empowerment are part of our ethos!
